MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. Biosynthesis of coenzyme A (CoA) from pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) is an essential universal pathway in prokaryotes and eukaryotes. COASY is a bifunctional enzyme that catalyzes the 2 last steps in CoA synthesis. These activities are performed by 2 separate enzymes, phosphopantetheine adenylyltransferase (PPAT; EC 2.7.7.3) and dephospho-CoA kinase (DPCK; EC 2.7.1.24), in prokaryotes (Daugherty et al., 2002 [PubMed 11923312]).[supplied by OMIM Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: AEGKRVCVIDAAVLLEAGWQNLVHEVWTAVIPETEAVRRIVERDGLSEMouse monoclonal antibody raised against a partial recombinant COASY.QSRLQSQMSGQQLVEQSHVVLSTLWEPHITQRQVEKAWALLQKRIPKTHQALD Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
