- Extra Details:
- CD42b, also known as GPIba, is a two-chain membrane glycoprotein that forms a noncovalent complex with CD42a (GPIX) on the surface of platelets and megakaryocytes. Binding of the GPIb/GPIX heterodimer to von Willebrand factor bound to exposed subendothelial surfaces is essential for platelet adhesion at sites of injury. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul/10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
