Extra Details:
CD45, otherwise known as LCA (leucocyte common antigen), is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the protein-tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, expressed at high levels on all nucleated cells of haematopoietic origin, and which exists in several isoforms generated by the alternative splicing. CD45 is a signal transduction protein vital for T and B cell antigen receptor-mediated activation, and is involved in many aspects of cellular processes, including growth, differentiation and oncogenic transformation. Studies have reported associations between CD45 and many cell surface antigens, including CD2, CD3, CD4, CD26 and CD90. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:200. Use 10ul to label 1x10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
