Extra Details:: Recognizes a cell surface antigen of 65-80kD which is similar to the human cell surface antigen designated as CD16. It has therefore been hypothesized that may recognize the ovine homologue of human CD16 (Hopkins, J. et. al. 1996). Recognizes an antigen that is strongly expressed by ovine alveolar macrophages and peripheral blood granulocytes, and more weakly by monocytes and other tissue macrophages. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:200 ELISA: 1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
