- Chickens were immunized with highly purified, pooled normal human IgM. After multiple immunizations in Freund’s adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. This fraction was solid-phase absorbed to make it mu chain specific and immunoaffinity purified from a human IgM immunoabsorbant. The anti-Human IgM reacts only with IgM by IEP and double immunodiffusion analysis. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Blotting applications. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
