Extra Details:: uBE2z belongs to the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. This protein catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins. It is a specific substrate for uBA6, not charged with ubiquitin by uBE1 and may be involved in apoptosis regulation. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-246 from human uBE2Z, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~30.5kD (269aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
