Extra Details:: STE20-related kinase adapter protein alpha isoform 5, also known as STRADA, is a member of STE-20 like kinase family are known to stimulate MAPK pathways by directly activating MAPKKK. It functions as an upstream activator of LKB1 and also directs the sub-cellular localization of LKB1 by anchoring it in the cytoplasm. STRADA-LKB1 interaction results in phosphorylation of STRADA and enhanced autophosphorylation of LKB1. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-314 from human STRADA, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~37kD (337aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C.
