Extra Details:: SSR2 belongs to the TRAP-beta family. SSR is a glycosylated endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane receptor associated with protein translocation across the ER membrane. TRAP proteins are part of a complex whose function is to bind calcium to the ER membrane and thereby regulate the retention of ER resident proteins. The SSR consists of 2 subunits, a 34kD glycoprotein (alpha-SSR or SSR1) and a 22kD glycoprotein (beta-SSR or SSR2). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
