Extra Details:: SNAI1, also known as Snail homolog 1, is involved in the epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT), formation and maintenance of embryonic mesoderm, growth arrest, survival and cell migration. This protein binds to 3 E-boxes of the E-cadherin gene promoter and represses its transcription. Both SNAI1 and SLUG belong to the snail C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. SLUG is a transcriptional repressor, involved in the generation and migration of neural crest cells. SNAI1 is expressed in mesenchymal, epithelial cell lines and highest expression in kidney. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
