Extra Details:: RNGTT is a bifunctional mRNA-capping enzyme exhibiting RNA 5'-triphosphatase activity in the N-terminal part and mRNA guanylyltransferase activity in the C-terminal part. It catalyzes the first two steps of cap formation: by removing the gamma-phosphate from the 5'-triphosphate end of nascent mRNA to yield a diphosphate end, and by transferring the gmp moiety of GTP to the 5'-diphosphate terminus. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-597 from human RNGTT, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~70.9kD (620aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
