Extra Details:: Putative peptidyl-tRNA hydrolase PTRHD1, also known as PTRHD1, is a 140aa protein that is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 2p23.3. The second largest human chromosome, chromosome 2 consists of 237 million bases, encodes over 1,400 genes and makes up approximately 8% of the human genome. A number of genetic diseases are linked to genes on chromosome 2. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-140 from human PTRHD1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~18.2kD (163aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
