- Extra Details:
- PRSS7 is also known as Enterpeptidase. This protein is responsible for initiating activation of pancreatic proteolytic proenzymes (trypsin, chymotrypsin and carboxypeptidase A). It catalyzes the conversion of trypsinogen to trypsin which in turn activates other proenzymes including chymotrypsinogen, procarboxypeptidases, and proelastases. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa785-1019 from human PRSS7 expressed in E.coli.
