Extra Details:: PDZK1 is a PDZ domain-containing scaffolding protein with a 519aa protein. PDZK1 mediates the localization of cell surface proteins and plays a critical role in cholesterol metabolism by regulating the HDL receptor, scavenger receptor class B type 1. This protein is expressed in the kidney, pancreas, liver, gastrointestinal tract, and adrenal cortex. In situ hybridization experiments showed that the expression of PDZK1 was limited to epithelial cells. In addition, PDZK1 was overexpressed in selected tumors of epithelial origin. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
