Extra Details:: PDGFB, also known as Platelet-derived growth factor subunit B isoform 2, is a member of Platelet derived growth factor (PDGF) family. In general, PDGF isoforms are potent mitogens for connective tissue cells, including dermal fibroblasts, glial cells, arterial smooth muscle cells and some epithelial and endothelial cells. In addition to its activity as a mitogen. Aberrant expression is involved in certain cancers, fibroproliferative disorders and atherosclerosis. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa82-190 from human PDGFB, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~14.7kD (130aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing..
