It required for maturation of extra mitochondrial Fe-S proteins The NuBP1-NuBP2 heterotetramer forms a Fe-S scaffold complex, mediating the de novo assembly of a Fe-S cluster and its transfer to target apoproteins. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-320 from human NuBP1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~36.9kD (343aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
