Extra Details:: NRG4 belongs to the neuregulin family and contains 1 EGF-like domain. The protein is low affinity ligand for the ERBB4 tyrosine kinase receptor. It concomitantly recruits ERBB1 and ERBB2 coreceptors, resulting in ligand-stimulated tyrosine phosphorylation and activation of the ERBB receptors. NRG4 does not bind to the ERBB1, ERBB2 and ERBB3 receptors. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-61 from human NRG4 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~9.1kD (84aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
