Extra Details:: KLK10, also known as Kallikrein-10, is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members. Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. It is secreted and may play a role in suppression of tumorigenesis in breast and prostate cancers. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa34-276 from human KLK10, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~29.1kD (266aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
