Extra Details:: KIAA0513, also known as uncharacterized protein KIAA0513, is highly expressed in the brain cortex, cerebellum, hippocampus, amygdala, pons and putamen. As the expression is high in neurons, KIAA0513 is also present in glial cells. In schizophrenic patients, higher levels are observed in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex as compared to control patients. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-401 from human KIAA0513, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~47.9kD (424aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
