Extra Details:: Interleukin-6, or IL-6, is a multifunctional protein, 212aa in length that plays critical roles in host defense, immune response and hematopoiesis. interleukin-6 (IL-6) produced by T cells, macrophages, fibroblasts, endothelial and other cells. IL-6 induces proliferation or differentiation in many cell types including B cells, thymocytes and T cells. IL-6, in concert with TGF-Beta, is important for developing Th17 responses. The IL-6 receptor is a trimeric complex composed of an IL-6-specific. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
