Extra Details:: IL34 is a cytokine that promotes the proliferation, survival and differentiation of monocytes and macrophages. This protein promotes the release of proinflammatory chemokines, and thereby plays an important role in innate immunity and in inflammatory processes. It plays an important role in the regulation of osteoclast proliferation and differentiation, and in the regulation of bone resorption. Signaling via CSF1R and its downstream effectors stimulates phosphorylation of MAPK1/ERK2 AND MAPK3/ERK1. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa21-235 from mouse IL34, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~26.8kD (236aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
