- Extra Details:
- HMGN3, also known as high mobility group nucleosomal binding domain 3, binds thyroid hormone receptor beta, but only in the presence of thyroid hormone. Thyroid hormone receptors are hormone-dependent transcription factors that regulate expression of a variety of specific target genes. It is thought to reduce the compactness of the chromatin fiber in nucleosomes, thereby enhancing transcription from chromatin templates. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-77 from human HMGN3, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~10.8kD (100aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
