Extra Details:: FGFBP1 is a secreted fibroblast growth factor carrier protein. This protein plays a critical role in cell proliferation, differentiation and migration by binding to fibroblast growth factors and potentiating their biological effects on target cells. It may also play a role in tumor growth as an angiogenic switch molecule, and expression of this gene has been associated with several types of cancer including pancreatic and colorectal adenocarcinoma. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa24-234 from human FGFBP1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~26.2kD (234aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing..
