Extra Details:: CREBZF strongly activates transcription when bound to HCFC1. It suppresses the expression of HSV proteins in cells infected with the virus in a HCFC1-dependent manner. This protein suppresses the HCFC1-dependent transcriptional activation by CREB3 and reduces the amount of CREB3 in the cell. CREBZF is able to down-regulate expression of some cellular genes in CREBZF-expressing cells. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-354 from human CREBZF, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~39.5kD (377aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
