Extra Details:: CREB3L2 is a member of the oasis bZIP transcription factor family. Members of this family can dimerize but form homodimers only. This protein is a transcriptional activator. Translocations between this gene on chromosome 7 and the gene fused in sarcoma on chromosome 16 can be found in some tumors. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-378 from human CREB3L2, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~44kD (401aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
