Extra Details:: CNN2 protein, which can bind actin, calmodulin, troponin C, and tropomyosin, may function in the structural organization of actin filaments. This protein could play a role in smooth muscle contraction and cell adhesion. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Molecular Weight: ~16.9kD (154aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
