- Extra Details:
- Cyclin-dependent kinase 16 isoform 1, also known as CDK16, belong to the CDK family of serine/threonine protein kinases. These proteins have a core kinase domain flanked by unique amino- and carboxy-terminal domains. CDK proteins are known to regulate the cell cycle. CDK16, which is expressed primarily in mammalian brain, interacts with a variety of proteins, and is thought to be part of a multiple signal transduction cascade. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa158-496 from human CDK16, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~41.1kD (362aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
