Extra Details:: CD58 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. This protein is a ligand of the T lymphocyte CD2 protein, and functions in adhesion and activation of T lymphocytes. CD58 is localized to the plasma membrane. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa29-215 from human CD58, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~23.8kD (210aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
