Extra Details:: BRD3 was identified based on its homology to the gene encoding the RING3 protein, a serine/threonine kinase. This protein localizes to 9q34, a region which contains several major histocompatibility complex (MHC) genes. The function of the encoded protein is not known. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-416 from human BRD3, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~48.1kD (439aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
