- Extra Details:
- ATP1B3 belongs to the X(+)/potassium ATPases subunit beta family. This is the non-catalytic component of the active enzyme, which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the exchange of Na+ and K+ ions across the plasma membrane. The exact function of the beta-3 subunit is not known. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa57-279 from human ATP1B3, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~27.4kD (246aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Enzyme Activity: Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein. Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
