This protein may catalyze the hydrolytic deamination of adenosine or some similar substrate and play a role in purine metabolism. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-267 from human ADAL, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~32.7kD (292aa) Enzyme Activity: Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein. Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
