- A cocktail of four protease inhibitors with broad specificity for the inhibition of aspartic-, cysteine-, metallo-, and serine-proteases. Recommended for fungal and yeast cell extracts. Each vial contains 100mM AEBSF, HCl, 1.5mM E-64, 2mM Pepstatin A, and 500mM 1,10-Phenanthroline. Supplied with a data sheet. Note: 1set=5x1ml. Kit Components: AEBSF, Hydrochloride: Molecular weight: 239.5, 1X100mM. Target Protease: Serine Proteases E-64 Protease Inhibitor: Molecular weight: 357.4, 1X1.5mM. Target Protease: Cysteine Proteases Pepstatin A: Molecular weight: 685.9, 1X2mM. Target Protease: Aspartic Proteases 1,10-Phenanthroline: Molecular weight: 198.2, 1X500mM. Target Protease: Metalloproteases Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
