- Extra Details:
- PKA RII Beta is a type two regulatory chain which mediates membrane association by binding to anchoring proteins, including the MAP2 kinase. When the enzyme is inactive there are two regulatory chains and two catalytic chains. PKA RII Beta is activated by cAMP and produces two active catalytic monomers and a regulatory dimer that binds four cAMP molecules. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml detected PKA RII Beta on 10ug of human brain tissue lysate. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
