- Extra Details:
- The Janus family of tyrosine kinases (JAK) includes JAK1, JAK2, JAK3 and Tyk2. This family associates with a variety of cytokine receptors and is activated by ligand binding. Upon ligand binding to cytokine receptors, JAKs phosphorylate themselves and their associated receptors. This provides multiple binding sites for signaling proteins containing SH2 or other phospho-tyrosine-binding domains, including STATs, Shc, insulin receptor substrates and FAK. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Control: RAW264.7 cell lysate Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
