Extra Details:: This is the D3 subtype of the five (D1-D5) dopamine receptors. D3 subtype receptor activity is mediated by inhibitory G proteins. This receptor is localized to the limbic areas of the brain, which are associated with cognitive, emotional, and endocrine functions. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry. Both formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded immunohistochemical staining and Western Blot have been reported in literature (ref 1 and 2). .Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
