Extra Details:: WNT-4, is a secreted protein and member of the Wnt family, which acts as a ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors, and is involved in the development of mammalian female (ovary) and male (testis) gonads, during embryonic development. Defects in WNT-4 are the cause of female SERKAL syndrome and Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome (RKH syndrome). Overexpression may be associated with abnormal proliferation in human breast tissue. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:250-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
