Extra Details:: VCAM-1 is expressed on the surface of activated endothelial cells and macrophages. It binds to leukocyte integrins VLA-4 and alpha 4 beta 7 to promote leukocyte adhesion at sites of inflamed vasculature. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:100-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry(Paraffin): 1:25-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
