Extra Details:: Fas ligand is a cell surface molecule belonging to the tumor necrosis factor family. Fas ligand binds to its receptor Fas, hence inducing apoptosis. Various cells express Fas, but Fas ligand is predominantly expressed on activated T cells. Fas and Fas ligand are involved in the down-regulation of immune reactions as well as T cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Neutralization. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
