- TRAIL-R3 is a receptor for the cytotoxic ligand TRAIL. It lacks a cytoplasmic death domain and hence is not capable of inducing apoptosis. Protects cells against TRAIL mediated apoptosis by competing with TRAIL-R1 and R2 for binding to the ligand. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:20-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
