- TCCR (T cell cytokine receptor), otherwise known as Interleukin-27 Receptor Alpha. It is a member of the type I cytokine receptor family with higher levels of expression in CD4+ T cells than in CD8+ T cells. It is a receptor for Interleukin-27 and is involved in the regulation of Th1-type T cells. It also appears to be involved in innate defense mechanisms. TCCR is highly expressed in lymphoid tissue such as spleen, lymph nodes and peripheral blood leukocytes. It is also weakly expressed in tissues such as the heart, brain and lung. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
