Extra Details:: Sonic Hedgehog protein (SHH) is essential for a variety of patterning events during embryo development. SHH is expressed in fetal intestine, liver, lung, and kidney. The SHH precursor protein is autocatalytically cleaved into two products. The C-terminal portion is involved in the proteolysis of the precursor and cholesterol transferase activity. The N-terminal portion contains signalling activity. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and Neutralization. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:250-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry(Frozen): 1:50-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
