- Nidogen-1 is a member of the nidogen family of basement membrane glycoproteins. It interacts with several other components of basement membranes, and may play a role in cell interactions with the extracellular matrix. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:100-1:200 Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
