- Extra Details:
- Marapsin, pancreasin, and channel-activating protease 2 (CAP-2) are different names for the same serine protease that is expressed strongly in the pancreas. Synthesized as a single-chain proenzyme, marapsin is activated to form a disulfide bond-linked dimer between the pro peptide and the serine protease domain. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:100-1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
