Extra Details:: Lipocalin 2 is from a family of proteins that are involved in the transportation of small hydrophobic molecules including steroids, retinoids, bilin and retinods. Lipocalins have been linked to many biolchemical processes such as immune response, pheromone transport, biological prostaglandin synthesis, retinoid binding, and cancer cell interactions. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
