- Extra Details:
- Layilin is a type I transmembrane protein that acts as a receptor for hyaluronan. It has an extracellular C-type lectin domain and a 123 aa cytoplasmic domain that interacts with the cytoskeleton. The amino acid sequence of rhLayilin is 85%, 82%, 80%, 79% and 76% identical to that of hamster, canine, bovine, mouse and rat. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
