Extra Details:: IL6R is a transmembrane protein that associates with the signal-transducing subunit gp130 to form a high-affinity receptor complex for IL-6. It is expressed on T cells, activated B cells, and peripheral monocytes. A soluble form of IL6R can be released by proteolytic cleavage. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry(Frozen): 1:50-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
