Extra Details:: IL-1 receptor type I (IL1R-I) is an 80kD transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily expressed on T cells, thymocytes, dendritic cells, fibroblasts, vascular endothelial cells, epithelial cells and neural cells. IL1R-I binds the mature forms of IL-1A, IL-1B, and IL-1Ra proteins. High affinity binding and signaling by IL1R-I requires CD121a and the accessory protein, IL1R AcP, which does not bind IL-1 alone, but forms a dimer capable of binding IL-1. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
