Extra Details:: FZD8 is a Frizzled Receptor that mediates Wnt signaling and is involved in determining vertebrate axis and tissue polarity. FZD8 is expressed during embryonic development in forming and differentiating somites in mice. FZD8 expression has been reported in brain, heart, kidney, pancreas, and skeletal muscle. ESTs have been isolated from embryo, eye, head/neck, heart, kidney, liver/spleen, pancreas, prostate, and testis libraries, as well as many tumor libraries. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
