Extra Details:: Erythropoietin is a humoral factor that stimulates erythropoiesis. EPO has four introns and five exons and contains 165 amino acids. EPO induces growth and differentiation of burst forming units and colony forming units into mature red blood cells. Human erythropoietin stimulates growth of rodent bone marrow cells. Recombinant erythropoietin is produced in CHO cells by a DNA sequence encoding the human EPO protein. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:600-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry: (Paraffin)1:50-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
