Extra Details:: CXC chemokine ligand 16 (CXCL16) is a type I membrane protein that has a non-ELR CXC chemokine domain in its extracellular region. Fractalkine (CX3CL1) and CXCL16 constitute the only two transmembrane chemokines. Mouse and human CXCL16 share 70% amino acid sequence similarity within their chemokine domains and 49% overall amino acid sequence identity. Applications: Suitable for use in Neutralization and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:250-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
