Extra Details:: NKG2A and NKG2C are type II transmembrane proteins with extracellular C-type lectin domains. These proteins heterodimerize with CD94 to form complexes that recognize HLA-E as ligand. The NKG2A/CD94 complex delivers an inhibitory signal resulting from ITIMs within the NKG2A cytoplasmic domain. NKG2C/CD94 provides an activating signal due to association with the ITAM-containing DAP12 adapter protein. These complexes are expressed on NK and T cell subsets. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
